Oh my Gosh, this Orange, Banana, Strawberry smoothie was so good; even I had to remind myself it was healthy. I made one large smoothie for me. The combination of flavors was reminiscent of beachy cocktails! YUM!
So good! Fresh, and slightly tropical with the oranges. You bet you want to add this to your smoothie rotations
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1 tablespoon ground flax
- 3 handfuls of frozen strawberries
Blend in high-efficiency blender until creamy (I keep the almond milk/OJ near the blender in case I need to add a bit more liquid for a better “vortex” effect).
If you don’t have a high-efficiency blender, I suggest fresh strawberries OR portioning out the frozen ones the night before and leaving in the fridge to partially thaw. We did that for years using an immersion blender before we got our Vitamix.
